I’m always on the hunt for full coverage foundations that still look natural on the skin and that’s exactly what the new Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation claims to be.
It comes in 33 shades – it’s available in the same shades as the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation and 13 more. If you already have your perfect match in the Sheer Glow you can just pick the new foundation in the same shade.
On the left is the Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation and on the right is the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation – both are in the shade Deauville.
The Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation comes with a pump which is great. I usually use 1-2 pumps for my entire face because it spreads beautifully.
It has a very good coverage but it feels and looks very light on the skin. I also love that it’s not matte, it actually makes the face quite radiant.
Unfortunately it doesn’t wear so well on my combo skin. My T-zone gets quite oily and the foundation rubs of my nose and chin. It also settles into my fine lines a bit but that’s nothing special on my skin – pretty much all foundations do that. It also gets a bit textury on the sides of my mouth and around my nose which I have to smooth with my fingers.
It’s a nice foundation and it makes my skin looks beautiful – I love my reflection in mirrors and windows when wearing it – but it requires a bit too much maintenance during the day.
