I fell in love with this Morphe palette as soon as I saw it! It has such a great selection of colors and I really like that transition shades come in bigger pans because I go through them the quickest. The palette was released as a limited edition during the holiday season in 2017 but I really hope they’ll bring it back and make it permanent.
I bought it for myself as a Christmas gift and I wasn’t sure what to expect since it was my first Morphe palette and I’ve seen quite mixed reviews about their products. Well I love it more and more every time I use it! The shades are pigmented, they blend beautifully and have pretty much zero fallout – even the shimmery ones! I think it’s one of the easiest palettes to work with and unlike in some other Morphe palettes the shades aren’t too repetitive in this one.
But there is something that bothers me – there is (almost) no light shades in it so it’s impossible to make any light looks with just this palette. I miss a matte cream shade and a champagne shimmery shade to put all over the lid and something to highlight with so I would gladly replace some of the browns for lighter shades. Anyway I still love this palette for darker, smokier looks and colorful looks!
This palette is so inspiring that I wanted to create three looks with it and share them with you. I even discovered it’s possible to create a sort-of light look – the blue one!
